easy fourth of july fits

Here are some simple Fourth of July outfits using clothes that you can actually rewear and can remodel using things from your closet!

Striped top | Red accent | Jean Shorts

I bought this Madewell top because it was affordable and super cute. I got it in the mail and realized how lightweight it is! Every year on the fourth it is either raining or BURNING hot, so if the latter occurs, I'll definitely be prepared to brave the weather. It already has two of the typical fourth of july colors on it, so all you need is to add the red and you'll be good to go. I decided to add a bandana because I had one laying around. But, you can also add some red jewelry or even put on red lipstick for your pop of red.

White Bottoms | Short Sleeve Shirt | Fedora Hat

I've been seeing these short-sleeved button ups all over Pinterest so I went out and found this cheap one @ HM! I feel like this can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I've worn it out to eat several times. This skirt is also just a staple that I re-wear every summer. The entire look is very laid back and subtly festive. For my blue I just wore my usual light blue purse!

Linen Top | Striped Shorts |

I only have a few red tops, and this one is by far my favorite. It was also super cheap! Nordstrom Rack has been KILLIN it lately. I've had these J. Crew shorts for years and they're white and blue so they're great for the fourth.

What I love about all of these outfits is that I can actually re-wear these pieces of clothing throughout the year. I love buying American flag apparel and USA shirts, but sometimes ya need to budget or don't have time to go out and buy some patriotic clothing. Any of these outfits are perfect for these situations! My main tip for a super last minute outfit is to try to find something white and blue because that's what most people typically have more of in their closet (I know I do). White is always super easy to find in your closet, and if you don't have a ton of blue you can always use some form of blue jean as your blue piece.
