Dip Dip Dip

Okurrrrrr, so today I'm gonna be talking about dip nails and why they're my absolute fav!

Ever since I got dip for the first time I have been in love. I personally don't like gel or nail polish because I end up peeling it off it or it chips within a week. I feel like it's a colossal waste of money to get your nails done if it's going to come off so quickly.

If you don't know what dip is, it's basically like acrylic, but it's supposed to be healthier for your nails and you can get it with or without the tip. Also similar to acrylic, it is hard and doesn't come off very easily. This aspect of it is super important to me because I want to get my money's worth.

Typically, nail salons will have tons of dip colors to choose from. I always go for glitter because I like glitter a lot and I feel like it looks good with the dip nails. Once you pick the color, the nail tech will put a gel-like polish on your nails and dip them in the color powder. After a few rounds of this they buff em out and viola, they're done. Another super plus is you don't have to wait for them to dry!

The main reason I keep going back to get dip is because they preserve my natural nail. Since I don't get tips, you can actually see my real nails growing with the dip on top. The dip protects the nail underneath and allows it to grow without being damaged. So, when I get the dip taken off, I always have hella long real nails and I don't have to pay the extra $5 for tips! #winwin

I get dip pretty much every month and I have never regretted it. I'll probably keep getting it forever (unless they come out with something better ;) )
